Last Day on Leadership!

Today we finish off our first theme for the year namely Leadership.

We have read the text about D-Day and seen a short extract of the film about it.
Focus was on Dwight Eisenhower who led the entire invasion on Sweden's National Day in 1944.
WE also discussed what makes a good leader and examples of leaders we know.

On the theme of the Second World War I asked you to find out 10 facts about any of the topics-
they are both in the book on page 16 and on the computer programme under "Länkar" "Kapitel 1"
NOT MANY PEOPLE HAVE DONE THIS.  The results should be sent to me by e-mail.

FICTION
You should have seen the film version of "the Wave" and written a journal based on the experiences of one the main charcters (see last blog post).
if it's not done then get it done!

Then there are the two texts- The Experiment I and the Experiment II.
Use them to get your 25 words for next Tuesday and mail them to me by Monday at the latest.
Don't forget the listening comprehension for The Experiment II. Again mail your answers to me.

LANGUAGE
We have done the idioms on page 12. Here are the correct answers.
GRAMMAR
We have studied how plural words are made and how these vary between Swedish and English.
In the book this is on page 14-15. On the computer programme numbers 2 and 3.
Here is an exercise to do
And one more for the road

Next week we will begin a new topic- CONFLICT.
This will involve a much bigger piece of work covering several school subjects.

Peace out!
